Ingredients

Raw chickpeas 230g.
Green Curry Paste 70g.
Salt 3/4 tsp.
Onion 1/2 pce.
Fresh Coriander 50g.
Vegetable Oil 1 cup.
Wheat Flour / chickpeas flour 2 tbsp.
Water 2 tbsp.
Sesame 1 tbsp.
Baking soda 1 tsp
Garlic yogurt dipping sauce
Garlic 2 cloves.
Greek yogurt 250g.
Lemon juice 1/2 pcs.
Olive oil 2 Tbsp.
Coriander leaves 2/3 stems
Salt 1/2 Tsp.

Cooking Steps

Preparation :

1. Soak the raw chickpeas in water overnight.

2. In a bowl add the yogurt, garlic, olive oil, salt and lime juice and stir until well combined then put in the chopped coriander and set aside.

3. Drain the chickpeas water and roughly grind in a blender with the onions and coriander leaves until thoroughly combined.

4. Add in the Blue Elephant green curry paste, salt, flour, sesame and baking soda and mix well. Place this mix into a bowl and let it set in the fridge for 30 min.

5. Shape the dough into balls of your desired size.

6. Put oil in saucepan and bring the temperature up to 180 C. Once the oil is ready, stir in the falafel balls and deep-fry for 2 mins and 30 seconds (time depends on size).

8. Drain the oil and place the falafels into a serving dish with the yogurt dipping on the side. Enjoy!
